How to Care for Silk Flower Jewelry

Ronghua is light and dimensional. A little thoughtful care helps the silk fibers and hand-shaped petals retain their form.

Keep it dry

Remove your jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising or applying perfume and hairspray. If a piece becomes damp, blot gently with a clean, soft cloth and let it air-dry away from heat.

Store it with space

Use the protective box supplied with your order. Keep the piece separate from heavier jewelry so chains, beads and petals are not compressed. Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity.

Handle the structure, not the petals

Fasten earrings by the metal fitting and place hair ornaments using the pin or comb. Avoid pulling on silk petals, chains or bead drops.

Refresh gently

For light dust, use a clean, very soft brush. Do not soak, steam, machine-wash or use household cleaners. If a petal is displaced or the structure is damaged, email info@huavelle.com with a photo before attempting a repair.
